The runner area has been increased to 3.6 square inches and the plenum volume expanded to enhance high rpm performance, ensuring maximum power output during racing conditions. The manifold's design eliminates the front water cross-over to maintain optimal runner shape and placement, although water fittings are included on the intake flange for optional external plumbing of a thermostat, providing flexibility for different cooling setups. The carburetor pad height is only 0.620 inches taller than the Edelbrock #2924, making it suitable for single-carb all-out drag racing vehicles that require minimal height increase. Compatible with Windsor cylinder heads on a 9.5-inch deck height block, this intake manifold is ideal for large cubic inch and high horsepower builds seeking maximum airflow and performance. Note that this intake is not EGR compatible, and a carb acknowledgment is required during installation.
