Returns

We understand that when you order a product there are a number of reasons you may decide to return it. We at ModBargains strive to make the experience as smooth and simple as possible.

Products ordered from ModBargains.com can typically be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment (clothing only a 14 day return window). However, some products have specific conditions, requirements, or policies. Please see below for our return policy details for different products and situations.

Return Policies



Returns may take 1-2 business days to process and approved depending on the information you provide, the reason for return, and when the request is submitted.

Please be sure you understand the return policies before submitting an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request.

You can start the return process by going to Your Orders on your account page and clicking the "Return Items" button next to your order. If you do not have an account you can also easily create an account using the same email address that you used placing the order and the order will automatically link to your new account. All items are shipped to the customer in good condition. However, mishandling by the shipper can cause parts to arrive damaged. Product defects may become apparent when the customer inspects the shipment received. These defects must be clearly described to modbargains support staff, and pictures will be required to verify the reported defects in order to authorize a return. It is strongly recommended that all items be inspected for damage or defects upon receipt. In the case damaged parts are received, the customer must contact modbargains within 3 business days to report the incident. All required documentation and paperwork for the claim requested from the customer must be received within 2 business days of reporting a damaged or defective product. To expedite the process, please include your order information and images of the damaged packaging and product with your initial submission. After 3 business days all claims of damaged or defective parts will be refused. modbargains must be notified of defect or damage before the part is installed, painted, or modified in any way. The shipping damage claim will be filed with the shipper by modbargains or by modbargains’ supplier who shipped the item directly to the customer. Once modbargains has confirmation that the shipping damage claim has been filed with the shipper and/or confirmed that the product(s) have left defective from the product’s carrier, modbargains will issue a prepaid shipping label from the carrier and customer will drop off the package at a local shipping hub for the shipping company.

The Shipping Companies we use have a 5 business day window in which we can file a shipping claim. This claim submission stipulation is not controlled by modbargains and we have no ability to affect the outcome of a shipping claim outside of this time window.

Modbargains decision to ship out replacement products prior to receiving finalizations or verdicts on any damage claim associated with shipping, will be done soley at the discretion of modbargains. Please note that on international returns, modbargains will not be responsible for any return shipping costs. Any authorized return shipment to modbargains or modbargains’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at clients’ expense. Customer will be issued an RMA number from modbargains for the return of damaged parts. Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused and all damage claims will be null and void. A fee may be charged for any missing items. In the event that an item is received defective the customer must file warranty claims directly with the manufacturer unless instructed otherwise by the manufacturer. modbargains will be happy to assist clients with any warranty claims processes with manufacturer, however, the manufacturer and only the manufacturer has the sole discretion on warranty claims resolutions. modbargains has no input or leverage with warranty claims. Any costs incurred by modbargains for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from modbargains, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to. All shipping charges to be included with any refund, will be null and void if modbargains' Return Policy is violated in any way. All refunds and the extent of those refunds will be subject to modbargains' discretion if the Return policy is violated in any way.

Our phone reps are trained to verify all information with you on the phone before submitting your order into our system. After 30 days have passed since you have received the item, all sales are final. To return the part(s) the customer must obtain an approved RMA number from modbargains and ship back all item(s) via prepaid standard ground shipping in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents. Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on any order that is returned for a refund, or 10% restocking fee items returned for store credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable including actual shipping costs incurred by modbargains with any "Free Shipping” offer. (Shipping Error - Correct Parts Were Ordered)

If the part has been installed, painted, or modified in any way, the customer now owns the part and it is non-returnable. In the case incorrect parts are received, the customer must contact modbargains within 15 days to report the error. After 15 days all sales are final. If the error is verified by modbargains, an exchange for the correct part will be processed. The customer must obtain an approved RMA number from modbargains and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents prior to modbargains sending out the replacement product. modbargains will not ship out the correct merchandise until confirmation of receipt of product is acquired by modbargains, customer may opt to place a deposit which is 100% of the cost of the item in order to expedite the shipment of the correct product. Once the return shipment is received modbargains will issue a full refund for the additional purchased product. If the customer decides not to keep the product instead of receiving a replacement because it is damaged, defective, incorrect, and/or lost in transit, a 25% restocking fee will be applied for the return as this will then be considered a return under the conditions of "Decide Not to Keep Parts” or 10% restocking fee for store credit. For domestic returns, modbargains will pay the shipping costs. Any costs incurred by modbargains for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from modbargains, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to. Any authorized return shipment to modbargains or modbargains’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. Wheels that have had tires mounted on them or have been fastened onto a vehicle will be regarded as used items and therefore are not returnable under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the client to follow the instructions provided on the packaging of each wheel prior to installation. Clients have 30 days in which to notify modbargains of receipt of incorrect or defective wheels. The client must obtain an approved RMA number from modbargains and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents prior to modbargains sending out replacement wheels. Shipping damage claims must be reported within 15 business days. No refunds will be issued for any unauthorized returns. Each box is clearly labeled with instructions to fully inspect wheels upon receipt prior to installation. modbargains provides its clients with all possible resources to secure proper fitment and order accuracy prior to product installation. modbargains customer service representatives are available to assist our clients with any uncertainties regarding their wheel purchases. Any deviation from this will be deemed as client negligence and all sales will be final.



Customer needs to notify us with in 15 days of a missed shipment. For all deliveries, including freight and international shipments, it is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate contact and delivery information. In the event of a failed delivery due to incorrect information being provided the customer will be responsible for paying all incurred return shipping fees and will need to sibmit and additional payment to have the item shipped again. Returned items would be subject to 25% restock fee. If the customer chooses to request a refund instead of reshipping the item, all shipping fees (both initial and return shipping) will be deducted from the refund. Likewise any delivery that is refused at the door will incur the same fees to cover return shipping, all of which which will be deducted from any refunds issued.



In the event that a shipment is lost by a shipping company (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), a claim will be filed by the original shipper with that shipping company. modbargains reserves the right to issue any and all refunds, exchanges or replacements until the shipping company has reimbursed modbargains for the insured value of the lost shipment, Any deviation from this rule will be solely conducted by modbargains at its own discretion.

Any shipment that is shipped form modbargains location will carry an insured value. Any lost or missing shipments will be pursued with the corresponding shipping company for that shipment. Due to the fact that some products sold by modbargains are not actually stocked by modbargains, any insurance claims for lost or missing shipments will be conducted solely by the discretion of the supplier that had originally shipped out the merchandise. modbargains does not have any authority to carry out and such insurances claims if modbargains was not the original shipping company.

For non-signature required shipments: If the tracking information that corresponds to a shipment confirms that the product was delivered to the intended address the customer assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for the receipt of that shipment. The customer is the one who provides modbargains with the ship to information and in doing so absolves modbargains of any liabilities for missing or stolen deliveries.



If your order has not been charged, you may cancel without penalty. If your order has been packaged, labeled for shipment, or charged, a 10% fee will apply to cancel your order due to the work our staff has put in already. Please note that most orders are pulled from inventory, labeled, charged, and ready for shipment very quickly after your order is placed, so please do not order unless you mean to actually receive and pay for your items. modbargains reserves the right to cancel any unshipped order without customer approval, but the customer will be notified. If an order has already shipped and the customer wants to cancel it, the Return Authorization procedure must be followed, the customer is responsible for all return shipping/re-routing fees, and a restocking fee may apply. Refusing delivery of an item does not constitute an order cancellation and a 25% restocking fee will be applied for a refund or 10% restocking fee for store credit. Any authorized return shipment to modbargains or modbargains’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. Please note that the cancelation procedures do not apply to "special order” (i.e. custom machined wheels) or "backordered” items. Gift certificates cannot be refunded.



From time to time parts ordered may not be available and a back-order is required. modbargains provides special order form paperwork for backorder situations. This paperwork supersedes the above mentioned "Order Cancellation” procedures and backordered items are subject to the terms stated in your special order form. If possible to ship without any additional fee, all items from your order that are not back-ordered will be shipped directly to you. If the other items can be shipped with an additional shipping cost, you will be notified for approval of this cost before we ship these items.



Special order items are subject to the terms stated in the special order agreement and the terms specified in the "order cancellation” procedures do not apply to backordered or special ordered items. All sales are final on Special Orders unless otherwise stated.

Pre-payment is required for all special/custom order items. Most special/custom order items are 50% non-refundable unless items are deamed to be Damanged, Defective, or Incorrect. Most special/custom orders cannot be cancelled once production on items has begun by the manufacturer. Cancelling such orders will result in no more than a 50% refund as stated in the "Special Order Form".

Supplier Confidentiality Violation



Modbargains reserves the right to withhold any and all refunds or credits if a customer decides to contact a modbargains’ supplier without modbargains’ consent. Any customer that contacts a modbargains supplier in regards to a product return without modbargains’ consent will be in violation of modbargains’ Terms and Policies. Such violations may incur penalty charges for performing such an act. All questions about customer purchased orders will go through modbargains and modbargains alone unless modbargains grants approval to a customer to contact a supplier. Such consent will be provided in a documented format.



Refunds will be made using the same method of payment as the original transaction whenever possible, with the exception of wire transfers. Any payment made via wire transfer will be refunded by company check. Refunds on credit cards/debit card shall be refunded to the same card number used for purchase.

Refunds granted by modbargains under special circumstances (IE: Product manufacturing issues, product delays, etc) requested after 120 calendar days from the original transaction date will be issued as store credit only, no exceptions.

Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on any order that is returned for a refund, or 10% restocking fee items returned for store credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable including actual shipping costs incurred by modbargains with any "Free Shipping” offer. Additional fees may be charged for any missing parts, damage to the item, or is not in resalable condition. No Returns on any parts that have been installed, modified, painted, or damaged!

A Return Authorization Number that is issued by modbargains is valid for 15 days from the day that it is issued. Items must be sent using a service that is trackable and shows it is in the courier's possession no later than 15 days from the day that the RMA is issued. If your package is sent beyond the 15 day allotted time limit, modbargains and modbargains' suppliers reserve the right to refuse the return. modbargains also will not issue another RMA # for this item if the previously issued RMA # has expired already.

Any product that is custom made or made to order can only be returned to modbargains or its suppliers/product manufacturers at modbargains’ own discretion. All requests to return merchandise of this nature will be addressed on a case by case basis. If modbargains or its suppliers/product manufacturers deny a return for whatever reason they see fit, no action can be taken against modbargains or its suppliers/product manufacturers as the purchaser has agreed to these terms at the time of purchase.

Wheel Returns



Wheels that have had tires mounted on them or have been fastened onto a vehicle will be regarded as used items and therefore are not returnable under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the client to follow the instructions provided on the packaging of each wheel prior to installation. Clients have 30 days in which to notify modbargains of receipt of incorrect or defective wheels. The client must obtain an approved RMA number from modbargains and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents prior to modbargains sending out replacement wheels. Shipping damage claims must be reported within 15 business days. No refunds will be issued for any unauthorized returns. Each box is clearly labeled with instructions to fully inspect wheels upon receipt prior to installation. modbargains provides its clients with all possible resources to secure proper fitment and order accuracy prior to product installation. modbargains customer service representatives are available to assist our clients with any uncertainties regarding their wheel purchases. Any deviation from this will be deemed as client negligence and all sales will be final.

Missed Shipments



Customer needs to notify us with in 15 days of a missed shipment. For all deliveries, including freight and international shipments, it is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate contact and delivery information. In the event of a failed delivery due to incorrect information being provided the customer will be responsible for paying all incurred return shipping fees and will need to sibmit and additional payment to have the item shipped again. Returned items would be subject to 25% restock fee. If the customer chooses to request a refund instead of reshipping the item, all shipping fees (both initial and return shipping) will be deducted from the refund. Likewise any delivery that is refused at the door will incur the same fees to cover return shipping, all of which which will be deducted from any refunds issued.

Lost Shipments



In the event that a shipment is lost by a shipping company (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), a claim will be filed by the original shipper with that shipping company. modbargains reserves the right to issue any and all refunds, exchanges or replacements until the shipping company has reimbursed modbargains for the insured value of the lost shipment, Any deviation from this rule will be solely conducted by modbargains at its own discretion.

Any shipment that is shipped form modbargains location will carry an insured value. Any lost or missing shipments will be pursued with the corresponding shipping company for that shipment. Due to the fact that some products sold by modbargains are not actually stocked by modbargains, any insurance claims for lost or missing shipments will be conducted solely by the discretion of the supplier that had originally shipped out the merchandise. modbargains does not have any authority to carry out and such insurances claims if modbargains was not the original shipping company.

For non-signature required shipments: If the tracking information that corresponds to a shipment confirms that the product was delivered to the intended address the customer assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for the receipt of that shipment. The customer is the one who provides modbargains with the ship to information and in doing so absolves modbargains of any liabilities for missing or stolen deliveries.

Order Cancelations



If your order has not been charged, you may cancel without penalty. If your order has been packaged, labeled for shipment, or charged, a 10% fee will apply to cancel your order due to the work our staff has put in already. Please note that most orders are pulled from inventory, labeled, charged, and ready for shipment very quickly after your order is placed, so please do not order unless you mean to actually receive and pay for your items. modbargains reserves the right to cancel any unshipped order without customer approval, but the customer will be notified. If an order has already shipped and the customer wants to cancel it, the Return Authorization procedure must be followed, the customer is responsible for all return shipping/re-routing fees, and a restocking fee may apply. Refusing delivery of an item does not constitute an order cancellation and a 25% restocking fee will be applied for a refund or 10% restocking fee for store credit. Any authorized return shipment to modbargains or modbargains’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at customers’ expense. Please note that the cancelation procedures do not apply to "special order” (i.e. custom machined wheels) or "backordered” items. Gift certificates cannot be refunded.

Back Orders



From time to time parts ordered may not be available and a back-order is required. modbargains provides special order form paperwork for backorder situations. This paperwork supersedes the above mentioned "Order Cancellation” procedures and backordered items are subject to the terms stated in your special order form. If possible to ship without any additional fee, all items from your order that are not back-ordered will be shipped directly to you. If the other items can be shipped with an additional shipping cost, you will be notified for approval of this cost before we ship these items.

Special/Custom Orders



Special order items are subject to the terms stated in the special order agreement and the terms specified in the "order cancellation” procedures do not apply to backordered or special ordered items. All sales are final on Special Orders unless otherwise stated.

Pre-payment is required for all special/custom order items. Most special/custom order items are 50% non-refundable unless items are deamed to be Damanged, Defective, or Incorrect. Most special/custom orders cannot be cancelled once production on items has begun by the manufacturer. Cancelling such orders will result in no more than a 50% refund as stated in the "Special Order Form".

Supplier Confidentiality Violation



Modbargains reserves the right to withhold any and all refunds or credits if a customer decides to contact a modbargains’ supplier without modbargains’ consent. Any customer that contacts a modbargains supplier in regards to a product return without modbargains’ consent will be in violation of modbargains’ Terms and Policies. Such violations may incur penalty charges for performing such an act. All questions about customer purchased orders will go through modbargains and modbargains alone unless modbargains grants approval to a customer to contact a supplier. Such consent will be provided in a documented format.

Refunds



Refunds will be made using the same method of payment as the original transaction whenever possible, with the exception of wire transfers. Any payment made via wire transfer will be refunded by company check. Refunds on credit cards/debit card shall be refunded to the same card number used for purchase.

Refunds granted by modbargains under special circumstances (IE: Product manufacturing issues, product delays, etc) requested after 120 calendar days from the original transaction date will be issued as store credit only, no exceptions.
