This Audi TT RS EVO 2 Front Mount Intercooler from Wagner Tuning is designed for Mk. 2 (8J) Audi TT models. The EVO 2 intercooler is a thorough, high-performance oriented redesign of the OEM intercooler system designed to increase cooling efficiency through a higher volume intercooler, made possible by its most notable feature, its integrated front crossmember. These intercoolers offer greater air charge cooling performance than the standard Wagner Tuning Front Mount Intercooler for the TT, which is already a significant improvement over the OEM design.

 Wagner's engineers revised their front mount intercooler with much larger, more efficient intercooler core and improved the end tank design to remove any remaining bottlenecks, resulting in an even greater increase in flow and charge cooling properties. When upgrading to a larger intercooler, the larger volume can sometimes cause a loss in manifold pressure (boost), but Wagner Tuning's engineers have tailored the flow of the intercooler to create a design that offers minimal loss of boost pressure.  Manufactured utilizing the highest quality tube fin intercooler cores, these intercoolers also feature cast, then CNC-machined aluminum end tanks to ensure reliable high performance air to air intake charge cooling.
