This cable allows the user to data log and change maps on a laptop via USB connection. This cable can also be used to update your JB4 with new updates and firmware. To use this cable you must have the 2.0 firmware loaded on your G3 control box.

BMS Dual Cone Intake Kits use S&B inverted cone filters due to their high quality build, standards, and materials used. JB4 USB 2.0 6 Datalogging Cable
This proprietary USB cable connects the JB4 G3 control box to your laptop, for use with 2.0s new datalogging, tuning, and map loading software. Cable may be left in engine bay and routed in the window or door when needed for a simple install. Alternatively it may also be routed behind the ECU in to the glove box for a clean install and on the fly access. JB4 must be equipped with a G3 box. Please do not attempt to use a standard RS232/USB cable with the JB4 as it will not work and may damage the processor.
This cable is only compatible with JB4 version 2.0. If you have an older JB4 version you will first need to update your firmware using either the chip upgrade or board upgrade below. The chip upgrade is for those who already have a G3 board and the board upgrade is for all others (board does not have a DB9 connector on the end). The G3 board includes 2.0 firmware preloaded.
