All AWE Exhaust systems are made from the highest quality T305 stainless steel tubing that is mandrel bent to give you exhaust the smoothest and best flow for maximum power. Their 180-degree Technology offers a straight through flow on all mufflers and resonators so you get the best sound without sacrificing performance.

Touring Edition Exhausts were designed for the sophisticated enthusiast that wants to improve the stock exhaust note of their W205 AMG without upsetting the neighbors or making the ride too noisy for some passengers (significant others, clients, kids, or maybe grandma). Now don't go thinking this system is silent, it still does an amazing job of turning heads and coaxing out the best tones from your W205 AMG's engine. Mellow under normal driving conditions but wakes up nicely at wide-open throttle.

AWE's patented 180 Technology

AWE's patented 180 Technology: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. Depending on the sound requirements of each vehicle, AWE acoustic engineers adjust the size and location of the ports and the chambers. By controlling the size and location of these key elements, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a 180-degree out of phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies (commonly referred to as Exhaust Drone).
