Vogtland Sport Springs are made in Germany and give your car improved handling, better cornering and a more aggressive stance. This means better appearance with maximum driving comfort in normal everyday driving, as well as better performance within operating limits. These special driving dynamics are achieved through proper research and innovative spring design.

Lowering from 30, 40 or even 60 mm may be possible, depending on the application. You can choose between this range of different sport spring sets.
The lower center of gravity provides greater handling and puts some ""fun"" back in to everyday driving.

The reduction of the spring travel demands a specific spring characteristic. The Vogtland-Compound-Spring consist of two different spring rates: a starting rate and an end rate. These are specially designed for every car model. Balanced and interacting characteristics means a well-balanced driving comfort and more sporty and responsive feel.

About Lowering Springs
Aftermarket springs are commonly used to lower the ride height and to reduce body roll. This is also often done when upgrading to a larger wheel and tire package. Generally speaking, the stiffer the spring rates (the amount of resistance a spring is set for against compression), the softer the sway bar setting can be set in order to achieve a similarly flat cornering response.

When trying to decide which lowering springs are right for you, your goal should not be to drop down the car as far as possible. In many cases, overly ""slammed"" cars may actually be illegal for road use and terrible performers. The ideal range of adjustment should be 0.5 to 2 inches using traditional lowering springs. Any lower, the height of the perch should be adjusted by using a ride-height adjustable coilover suspension.

Important Note
***Lowering beyond 1.6"" on the front of Mk4 VW's requires the use of adjustable swaybar endlinks, or an aftermarket swaybar.
