About:
Morimoto XB LED headlights and tail lights give the Porsche 911 997.1 (2005-2008) a modern look and much better illumination. The headlights use one high-output Bi-LED projector like the newest 992 model. They offer a bright, wide low beam plus a strong high beam. A built-in daytime running light uses 5000K Osram LEDs. The UV-coated polycarbonate lens stays clear, and the PPS plastic housing has die-cast aluminum heat sinks for cooling. No wiring changes are needed - they fit both 997.1 and 997.2 cars. On a 997.2, a quick ECU flash removes any warning code. The tail lights bolt on without cutting or splicing, plugging into factory connectors on all U.S. 997.1 models. Built-in resistors stop error codes or rapid flashing. A light pipe along the top edge acts as a parking light. Three red sections handle brake and turn signals, and one clear section is for backup lights. All lights meet DOT rules. The red-lens tails look like original gear, while the smoked-lens version adds sporty style. Both headlights and tail lights meet SAE and DOT standards, include easy aiming adjusters, and are built to last the life of the car.
