Particularly for automobiles with turbochargers, exhaust system restrictions reduce horsepower and torque. Therefore, increasing horsepower and torque will result from reducing as many exhaust flow constraints as possible. The exhaust flow is restricted by the factory resonators in the factory midpipe, which are intended to quiet and muffle the exhaust flow. Free-flowing resonators are used in place of the constricting factory resonators in our Sports Series Resonated Midpipes. Our Sports Series Resonated Mid Pipes were made to sound more subdued, like factory. The best option for people who have too-loud aftermarket downpipes or exhaust systems but still want a performance boost and don't want their exhaust tone to be louder than the factory. When combined with mandrel-bent tubing, which also aids in improving flow, more horsepower and torque are possible.

The "H" type crossover is a characteristic of our Sports Series Resonated Mid Pipes. The left and right exhaust pipes' pressures are equalized via the crossover. This lessens droning and encourages improved flow. In comparison to the "X" crossover design, we tested the "H" crossover design and discovered that it improved low end torque and reduced droning. As a result, we used a "H" crossover rather than a "X" crossover. Ultimately, this is a BMW, and we don't want it to drone. We assumed that BMW likewise thought the "H" shape was the best option for this use because the factory mid pipe also uses a "H" crossover design.

Our Sports Series Resonated Mid Pipes use mandrel bent pipe and are made entirely of 304 grade stainless steel. They are constructed in the USA and 100% TIG welded by our in-house fabricators. We use CNC precision-cut billet stainless steel for our exhaust flanges. The bracket hanger from the manufacture is kept. Stainless steel rods are used to TIG weld and laser cut the bracket hanger. The mid pipes are joined to the rear exhaust muffler portion using premium exhaust clamps.
