ACT N54 Clutch Kit 135i/335i/535i
Your stock N54's clutch in your 135i/335i/535i is only designed for so much torque.  Light to moderate modifications are usually fine, but for all those guys out there pushing their N54 engines to the limit, with tuners, bolt on's, and more, then this ACT clutch is the perfect next mod for you.  These Act clutches for your N54 are strong enough to handle any kind of torque you can produce with that N54, guaranteed!  As well as to never fade even under the most extreme conditions.

ACT is pleased to announce it’s entry into the late model BMW market with the introduction of their clutch kits for the E46 M3 and BMW’s N54 powered (3.0L inline 6 cylinder twin turbo) cars, the 135i, 335i and 535i cars! The popularity of both applications combined with ACT’s 15 year reputation for quality and performance means that these new kits are sure to sell out soon. ACT will be taking preorders on their initial limited production run of these kits.

ACT’s new clutch kit for the 335i, 135i and 535i feature a Heavy Duty Pressure Plate that incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear and provides a 45% increase in clamp force over the stock unit.

The ACT Street Clutch Kit combines the Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and a Performance Organic Street Disc, a disc that features special performance organic friction materials to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel backed linings for high burst strength and modifications engineered for quicker shifting. The ACT Street Clutch Kit provides a moderate and consistent pedal feel, smooth engagement, significantly improved durability and increases the torque capacity to 456 ft. lbs.

ACT Race Clutch Kits will hold 583 ft. lbs. of torque. Metallic Ceramic Xtreme Discs are available in 4 and 6 puck un-sprung hub designs and are very durable while allowing for quick shifting. The Xtreme Discs are design for high power engines and are recommended for track use only.
