Introducing the new Öhlins Street Tuned system for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (part # TES MX00S1). The new Street Tuned suspension, which is built on our acclaimed DFV technology monotube shocks and prioritizes comfort, provides a refined ride quality without sacrificing vehicle handling or body control. DFV technology is used to lessen harshness on rough roads, where standard OE suspensions (including entry-level coilovers) can feel abrasive and lacking in grip.
Adjustable ride height enables for the exact desired posture and style, which each customer can personalize. The dampers are individually adjustable across 20 specified clicks for precision tuning ranging from comfort to better handling over OE. This system is built around a monotube damper architecture with DFV technology, which is intended to increase responsiveness. This is complimented with stronger big bore shocks, which improve the system's resistance to wear and tear, as well as a lightweight aluminum body, which reduces the vehicle's overall unsprung weight.
The Öhlins Street Tuned system provides a smoother ride with greater handling and control, resulting in a more enjoyable drive on the road.
If Tesla customers choose a sportier option, the Road & Track system, part #TES MU02S1, will be available, with an upgraded specification that incorporates more suspension travel to ensure performance while loaded with cargo and additional occupants.
