Description:

Side skirts are a great way to liven up the otherwise neglected middle of your car. When paired with a front lip and a rear diffuser they complete a skirting of Carbon Fiber around the whole lower portion of the car. They also make the car lower and sleeker overall because they hang lower than the factory skirts. If you want to give your M3/M4 that extra touch of style that will set it apart from the rest then you definitely should consider a set of these Side Skirts.

NOTE: Like all Carbon Fiber and FRP products on the market, this product must be test fitted & prepped before installing it. Often, slight modifications are required such as trimming, sanding, filling, or smoothing the surface in order to achieve the best fitment and appearance. This is NOT an OEM product, fitment will NOT always be perfect straight out of the box. We strongly recommend having this product installed by a body shop experienced in working with AFTERMARKET body kit pieces, not a standard collision repair center that works on insurance claims.     Overpriced, low quality

    I bought these based on the previous reviewer's comment praising how good they look and how easy they were to install, didn't even need to jack up the car they said!

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but BUYER BEWARE! This is definitely not true for installing these on an 2015 F80 M3 Sedan. The side skirts need to be cut extensively in order to fit around the jack pads. To make things more complicated the skirts are not labeled at all, so figuring out front from rear, left from right is 100% guesswork and test fitting. I emailed Modbargains support asking for some guidance on orientation and received no reply.

    After you cut the side skirt extensions to fit around the jackp ads - which requires removing the OEM side skirts from the car and measuring where you need to cut, etc. You'll then need to secure the side skirt extension to the OEM side skirt. The extension is predrilled and comes with double sided tape pre-installed. The tape is useless. If you want these to stay on the car long term I recommend using nuts and bolts with locktite blue to secure these to the car rather than self-tapping screws which will loosen quickly. It takes a little longer but will hold until you want to remove them. I suggest not even using the double-sided tape. As mentioned it is useless in respect to securing the side skirts and will only complicate aligning them during installation and removing them down the line.

    The underside of the side skirt extensions is unfinished, unlike other company's extensions the underside isn't finished with punch-outs for countersunk screws instead they just are entirely unfinished underneath.

    If I had to do it again I would definitely not purchase these. You can buy similar quality side skirt extensions for half the price from Chinese competitors. Disappointing.

    CF side skirts for BMW M4/ service

    The skirt came with adhesive and predrilled holes. They look awesome and was very easy to install. Did not need to lift car.
    The customer service I received from everyone at ModBargains was exceptional. Very professional and knowledgeable. I made a change to my order shortly after and they made it very easy. Thank you Eddie for all of your help!
