For whatever reason, Toyota/Scion decided not to share when they released the FR-S in the U.S., leaving base models with an entirely different pair of headlights. However, they did release a few special models that came with JDM-Style headlights as standard. They featured an integrated LED strip for the DRLs that really add to the aggressive front end.

The problem, though, is that these fancy LED DRLs only run when your low beams are off so your car just looks like it's constantly squinting one way or the other. Diode Dynamics has produced a simple solution for this problem that keeps your DRLs on even while using the low beams. While your low beams are on, the DRLs will only run at 50% brightness so you don't blind other drivers, but will return to 100% during the day when your low beams are off.

A simple and elegant solution that can dramatically improve your car's night time appearance.
