The Valvetronic system of this exhaust is actuated by the car's standard vacuum system. At low revs, gas flow is diverted through a harmonically tuned silencer, which produces a smooth and pleasant exhaust note that is unobtrusive at cruising speeds in the cabin and subtle and refined from outside the car. At higher RPM, however, the silencer is completely bypassed and exhaust gases are allowed to flow freely through a tight radius x-pipe. Complimented by tuned cross-sections, this exhaust produces an incredible high-pitched exhaust note, more akin to a Formula One racecar than any street vehicle.

Performance is also enhanced with header primaries, collectors and bypass cross-sections that have been perfectly tuned to produce peak torque between 6500 and 6500, resulting in an exhaust system that works in perfect harmony with the engine's natural powerband.
