M3 Style Front Bumper
Polypropylene (OEM material) M3 style front bumper with grille and foglights. Best fitting aftermarket M3 style bumper in OEM material. Why mess with fiberglass when you can get the best? Available in sedan and coupe fitment for all E46 BMW 3 Series (99-05)

Includes grille, fog light housings, and fog lights (type 9006).

Our Bumper vs. Others

  • Uses the OEM reinforcement bars, competitors don't
  • Allows for fitment of aftermarket front lips
  • Different bumper for coupe, sedan or M3, not a universal fitment, unlike our competitors' bumpers
  • Hand inspected one by one to ensure quality

NOTE: Like all Carbon Fiber and FRP products on the market, this product must be test fitted & prepped before installing it. Often, slight modifications are required such as trimming, sanding, filing, or smoothing the surface in order to get best fitment and appearance. This is NOT an OEM product, fitment will NOT always be perfect straight out of the box. We recommend having this product installed by a company that has experience working with AFTERMARKET body kit pieces, not a standard collision repair center that only works on insurance claims. Images below show an accurate representation of THIS PRODUCT, properly installed by a professional installer. We also install this product at our own installation facility in southern California.

Frequently Asked Questions about this Product:

Does this product include fog lights?
- Yes, it comes with fog lights as well as the fog light housings.

Can I order this bumper pre-painted?
- No, we do not offer painting services on these bumpers. It is recommended that you have the bumper pre-fitted on your car before doing any painting, and have the painting done by a local body shop to you. This is a service that most body shops are VERY comfortable providing to customers. Having it painted by a local body shop is also the most effective way to get a proper color match.

How much will this cost to have painted/installed?
- $300 for paint and $100 for install would be fair estimates for quality work. Not cheap but not that expensive either! Prices will vary based on the shop you take this to. A lot of them will price things based on how busy they are. If they are really busy the price will be high, if they really need something to do, they will probably cut you a deal. Just try to negotiate with them.

As far as fitting these bumpers on face-lifted vehicles, the brackets on these bumpers (M3 and CSL) do not fit face-lifted vehicles (which does not come as a surprise to most of you). Not a problem for any competent body shop. You can choose to order pre-facelift brackets if you wish. However my body shop was not as confident using the aftermarket guide on the bumper. So he simply took the brackets off the bumper, and bolted the bumper on the car using two bolts on each side of the bumper into the fenders (10 mm). Very secure. This bumper is not going anywhere. So the only modification to the bumper itself is drilling two holes to mount to the fender (instead of using the brackets). The body shop also used two tabs on the top of the bumper to secure it to the reinforcement bar.

Lastly the air vent on the CSL bumper has a bracket at the end of the bumper for a single foglight (just like the CSL V2 brackets for each of the quad fog lights). Now I know 99% of people do not want to mount a fog light on a CSL V1 bumper, so I just had my body shop cut the bracket off (very easy on a P.P. bumper and no additional charge. Took 5 minutes).

Only modifications made to the bumper were:
1. taking off the brackets
2. drilling two holes on each side of bumper to attach to fender
3. cutting off the bracket in the air vent (optional)

As for pre-facelift E46, although the guides on these bumpers will most likely fit the pre-facelift guides, my body shop recommends attaching the bumper using bolts for a more secure fitment, and taking off the brackets. Same process as for the face-lifted E46.

Please be advised that this bumper requires prep work and primer before painting. This includes some sanding and filling on the bumper to make it perfectly smooth and ready for paint. In most cases, this adds to the cost the body shop will charge you for painting the bumper. NOTE: This bumper is manufactured in the same factory as all other retailers who are selling this bumper. All aftermarket bumpers and body kits require prep-work prior to painting, and this is considered completely normal.
