Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Camshaft #2263 is designed for 500+ Mark IV and Gen V engines from 1967-95 and produce optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. Rollin' Thunder camshafts match with Performer manifolds for vehicles operating from off-idle to 5500 rpm. They are smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s. You can expect a major improvement in throttle response and torque. In the manifold section you'll find torque graphs showing the power gains from Performer manifolds and Performer-Plus cams. All camshafts include flat tappet lifters (except for cams designed for use with stock roller lifters), assembly lube and instructions. This cam produced 676HP and 649 Ft Lbs of Torque when paired with Victor Jr. intake manifold #2902 and E-CNC cylinder heads #79555. Not for 1965-66 Big block Chevy's requiring a grooved rear cam journal. Must use with a high stall torque converter. All camshafts include flat tappet lifters, assembly lube, and installation instructions, streamlining the upgrade process. When combined with a Victor Jr. intake manifold and E-CNC cylinder heads, this camshaft has been proven to produce up to 676 horsepower and 649 ft-lbs of torque, showcasing its potential for high-performance applications. The specifications include an intake duration of 248 degrees, exhaust duration of 256 degrees, intake lift of .632 inches, exhaust lift of .648 inches, and a lobe separation angle of 112 degrees. The intake center line is set at 109.5 degrees, with a vacuum reading of 11 inches, ensuring consistent performance. Please note this cam is not suitable for 1965-66 Big Block Chevy models requiring a grooved rear cam journal and must be used with a high stall torque converter for optimal results. This camshaft is compatible with Chevrolet Big-Block Mark IV engines such as 396, 402, 427, 454, and 502 cubic inch variants, providing increased power and torque for demanding applications.
