Description:

A good quality aftermarket exhaust is one of the main identifiers which separates the car enthusiast from the average car owner. Your exhaust becomes a part of your identity, enthusiast friends will recognize your approach and associate that sound with you and your car. When choosing an exhaust it is important to think about what you want your exhaust to say about you. If you're the type that likes your approach announced with trumpets and fanfare then you can't go wrong with the AWE Track Edition Exhaust. This exhaust is straight piped from the catalytic converter all the way out the back for a very raw exhaust tone. The sound is very guttural and deep but not in a harsh way, making it very noticeable but not offensively so. If you like the idea of a loud exhaust some of the time but also have times you want to be a little more low-key then the SwitchPath exhaust would be a better choice for you. The SwitchPath lets you remotely control a valve in the exhaust which will reroute exhaust gasses through the muffler section or bypass it depending on which mode you select. Furthermore you are able to choose between either black or silver 102mm exhaust tips to complement your vehicle. These styling and sound options when combined with the power benefits this exhaust gives your Golf R, it's really a no-brainer when it comes to upgrading your factory exhaust, the only question now is which version is the right fit for you?
